types of cancer

The types of cancer that are known at this time are:

That type of cancer that originates in the cells that line the surface of the body or body duct surfaces, such as skin cells, tissues, mucus glands, ovary ,melanin cells, breast, cervix, colon, rectum, stomach, pancreas, testis  and esophagus.

The term carcinoma has also come to comprehend malignant tumors collected of transformed cells whose origin or developmental lineage is unidentified (see CUP), but that possess convinced precise molecular, cellular, and histological characteristics typical of epithelial cells. This may include the production of one or more forms of cytokeratin or other intermediate filaments, intercellular bridge structures, keratin pearls, and/or tissue architectural motifs such as stratification or pseudo-stratification

That type of cancer that originates in the blood-forming tissues, such as lymph tissue, lacteal, spleen, various lymph nodes, thymus, and bone marrow. Specific lymphomas include Hodgkin’s disease (cancer of the lymph nodes and lymph)

Lymphoma presents with certain non-specific symptoms. If symptoms are persistent, lymphoma needs to be excluded medically.

This type of cancer does not form a tumor mass, but to meet the blood vessels and interfere with normal blood cell function.

Damage to the bone marrow, by way of displacing the normal bone marrow cells with higher numbers of immature white blood cells, results in a lack of blood platelets, which are important in the blood clotting process. This means people with leukemia may easily become bruised, bleed excessively, or develop pinprick bleeds (petechiae).

White blood cells, which are involved in fighting pathogens, may be suppressed or dysfunctional. This could cause the patient’s immune system to be unable to fight off a simple infection or to start attacking other body cells. For the reason thatleukemia prevents the immune system from working naturally, several patients experience frequent infection, ranging from infected tonsils, sores in the mouth, or diarrhea to life-threatening pneumonia or opportunistic infections.

Finally, the red blood cell deficiency leads to anemia, which may cause dyspnea and pallor.

Some patients experience other symptoms, such as feeling sick, having fevers, chills, night sweats, feeling fatigued and other flu-like symptoms. Some patients experience nausea or a feeling of fullness due to an enlarged liver and spleen; this can result in unintentional weight loss. Blasts preciousby the disease may come together and turn out to bes wollen in the liver or in the lymph nodes causing pain and leading to nausea.

No single known cause for any of the different types of leukemia exists. The known causes, which are not generally factors within the control of the average person, account for relatively few cases.[17] The different leukemias likely have different causes.

Sarcomas are given a number of different names based on the type of tissue from which they arise. For example, osteosarcoma arises from bone, chondrosarcoma arises from cartilage, liposarcoma arises from fat, and leiomyosarcoma arises from smooth muscle. That type of cancer in which the supporting tissue in the body surface such as connective tissue, including cells – cells found in muscles and bones.

Namely nervous system cancers, such as glial cells (supporting tissue) in the central nervous system. A glioma is a type of tumor that starts in the brain or spine. It is called a glioma because it arises from glial cells. The most common site of gliomas is the brain.[1] Gliomas make up ~30% of all brain and central nervous system tumors and 80% of all malignant brain tumors.[2]

That is the term used to describe abnormal epithelial cells are still limited in certain areas they are still considered prainvasif lesion (abnormality / injury that has not spread)

Carcinoma  Cancers derived from epithelial cells.  This group covers many of the most public cancers, mostly in the aged, and comprise nearly all those emergent in the breast, prostate, lung, pancreas, and colon.
